TO RENEW YOUR CERTIFICATION, click the link below to fill out the renewal form and to submit proof of your nine (9) continued education (CE) hours. After submitting your form, you will be taken to the link where you can pay the $50.00 renewal fee. If you have any questions or need assistance, please Contact Us.

PLEASE NOTE: Certification renewal is the sole responsibility of the certified individual and the IBFC does not make it a practice to send out renewal notices. Please note that processing can take up to 30 days to process and deliver, so early submission is recommended. Renewal Applications will not be accepted more than forty-five (45) calendar days prior to expiration.

You should expect to receive your renewed certificate in the mail within two to four weeks of paid submitted request. If you have not received your certificate within this time frame please contact our office at IBFC@TheLCU.org

*IBFC reserves the right to deny renewal of ANY counselor's certification or licensure or to revoke ANY counselor's certification or license should the counselor violate the IBFC's designated code of ethics.
